General Drilling gives you the "hole" picture.

Where the hole ends is just as important as where it begins.
MSHA on bore hole tracking

Where the top of the hole is just as important as where the bottom ends up.

Your blaster takes care in laying out the shot in a precise pattern with the proper burden and spacing.  Do you know where the bottom of your hole is?  General Drilling has its own bore tracker to make sure the bottom of the hole is where it is intended to be.  Consequences of not having the bottom of the hole in its proper place can lead to toe, fly rock, and over-sized material.

Drillers Log

The communication between driller and blaster has to be seamless.  General Drilling provides a shot report for every shot drilled.  The shot report can be delivered in paper format or emailed directly to people that need to know before your blasters arrive. This is just the first step in providing our customers with assurances that the next shot will be safe and effective.

Hole Deviation

Using the right drilling technique allows General Drilling to give our customers assurances that our boreholes are on target.   Additionally, we measure and audit our own drills to make sure they stay within industry specifications.  In addition to our own bore tracking system, we also have a 2D face profiler. The face profiler gives an overall picture of the face including the bench height, burdens and drill hole angles.
